Education/Experience/Language requirements
- First level university degree (Bachelors or equivalent) in Communications or similar field OR; Secondary school diploma (high school) with additional five (5) years of relevant experience will be excepted in lieu of first level degree.
- Minimum one year of experience in Community Liaison.
- Experience working in Gaza is an asset.
- Experience in report writing is desired
- Mine action experience is desired
- International organization experience is desired
- Experience in planning is desired
- Experience in communication and contract management is desired
- Fluency in Arabic (writing, reading and speaking) is required.
- Intermediate in English (writing, reading and speaking) is required.
- Knowledge of another UN official language is desired.
