Business/Marketing Development Intern
Bonah is a private shareholding company that is located in Gaza and was registered in 2015. The company main services are in the field of social media training, consultation, digital marketing and content management. Bonah has acquired Forus4u (opportunities for you) online blog.
Forus4u or (opportunities for you) is an online blog initiated in 2011 but recently acquired by Bonah. The blog (http://www.forus4u.com/) posts job opportunities and internships/ scholarships updates in the Gaza Strip. In addition, the blog has a dedicated (resource) HR section with samples for professional resume, cover letter, resignation letters and letters promotion both in Arabic and English languages intended to help the job seekers build their own CVs and increase their chances to compete on and obtain jobs.
To shift from a blog to a more business oriented platform, with assistance from Compete, Bonah is looking to hire a “Business/Marketing Development Intern” to approach potential local client and promote the Forus4u services.
The business/marketing development intern will have a business development function that aims at finding a person capable of sales to the target groups, as well as contributing to and assisting in the development of the company's business related to the field of business administration, customer service, planning and marketing, and other tasks aimed at promoting the company's work.
Duties and Responsibilities of a Business/Marketing Development Intern
• Implement a strategy to discover and secure new jobs.
• Implement a negotiation strategies by assessing risks and potentials.
• Evaluate potential third-party clients in terms of common interests.
• New business strategies are adapted to customer types.
• Represent the company in commercial organizations, committees, and during meetings if necessary.
• Create a business development database to assess performance and organize existing and potential customers.
• Promotes beneficial relationships with business partners, potential customers, and business contacts in order to attract new business and enhance the reputation and income of the company.
• Close new business transactions and direct sales.
• Conducting field visits to clients.
• Do any other job required by the company
Knowledge, skills and abilities
• Ability to close deals and direct sales.
• Ability to adapt to work and multitasking.
• Demonstrates strong organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines, and ability to solve problems.
• Excellent communication and communication skills.
• Skills of using software (Microsoft Office especially Excel) in addition to Google Drive applications.
• Skills of using social networking sites.
• Know how to use the Pipeline for sales.
• A simple knowledge of corporate finances
Education and experience
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing or related field.
• Preferably, One year experience in the field of administrative work in companies.
Nature of the work
Full time 40 hours per week.
Duration: 3 months, renewable
