Psychologist - SERB Center

Position: Psychologist for NPA’s CPP School Project 

Immediate Superior: SERB Project Manager 

Length of Contract: 2 month

General Responsibilities:

• Work within the agreed service provider’s contract and ensure the CPP School Project teams represent the CBO and NPA through professionalism and good conduct.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Provide psychological support to our target group.
• Support the implementation of psycho-education activities within the target group.
• Undertake the social investigation about the individual child case when it is needed to make sure that all the information collected properly through reliable sources that relate to project CPP Gaza school information.
• Guide and support the children of Gaza CPP School Project.
• Apply child protection policies and procedures in the PRCS theatre while watching the play.
• Ability to conduct individual and group therapy sessions.
• Be cooperative with all CBO staff of theatre show, facilitate task implementation and supervise their performance and solve any problem
• Perform any other tasks requested by SERB Project manager.

Required Qualifications

• Must have a BA or BSc degree or equivalent in psychology.
• At least 2 years’ experience working with the NGO sector in Palestine.
• Excellent command of English, written and spoken is essential for the role.
• Excellent computer skills, writing and communication skills in English and Arabic.
• High motivation and excellent work ethic, both as part of a team and independently.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent reporting and formal writing skills in both English & Arabic
• Experience in community psycho-education.
• Flexible and enthusiastic with a good sense of humor.
